OWN LABEL is about high quality design without paying high prices for established brand names. Our mission is two fold:

For designers 

To harness the creative talents of upcoming designers and provide them with a channel through which their designs can be seen by fashion conscious consumers. 

For the fashion conscious consumer 

To democratise fashion and give consumers input into which garments get made. To give fashion forward shoppers the opportunity to be the first to get their hands on the next big name designer of tomorrow.

About us

OWN LABEL was set up following a collaboration between students from the University of the Arts and London Business School. There are four original founders of the company, all of us share the same belief, that the consumers should determine what looks stylish and that the internet provides the ideal platform to showcase the talents of rising designers. 

Our backgrounds are, we hope, as varied, as the garments we manufacture.  

Toby looks after our finances. He recently graduated from London Business School with a Sloan MSc having previously spent 15 years working in finance. Juliana spent more than 20 years in broadcasting and communication, predominantly with the BBC. She looks after our marketing. Got any ideas on how we can get your fellow designers onto the site? Aine takes care of all things web having worked as a graphic designer for a number of years in Dublin and Sydney. She recently graduated from Camberwell College of Arts with an MA Illustration. Last but not least we have our very own fashion designer, Nivindya (Niv). She has two MAs one in Fashion Design from the University of Central Lancashire and one in Fashion Entrepreneurship from the London College of Fashion. Importantly she has designed and sold a number of her own garments.  Niv is responsible for all of our production.
