OWN LABEL and Diversity NOW!

In September 2012 Own Label joined All Walks with the call for Diversity NOW! student competition. Students from 33 universities and colleges across the UK had the chance to shout about their beliefs, and bring their vision of beauty, body shape and attitude through journalism, fashion, design, graphics, photography, illustration. From May 1, the selected finalists will be displayed on our site for public voting. The designs with the most votes will be announced on May 30 and the winning garment(s) will be made up and sold from our site.

The overall Diversity NOW! winner will be announced by All Walks at Graduate Fashion Week on June 4.

What is OWN LABEL?

OWN LABEL is a new channel for emerging fashion designers. The idea is simple: We post fashion competitions in the SUBMIT section of the website. Fashion students and new designers submit their designs in line with these briefs for the chance to win a cash prize. The top designs are displayed in the VOTE section of our website to be voted for by YOU the public. The most popular designs are manufactured in limited quantities and sold online with the designers name on the label.
